Aviso n. 189/2008

Por ordem superior se torna público ter o Governo da França efectuado, junto do Secretário -Geral das Naçóes Unidas, em 12 de Janeiro de 2006, uma notificaçáo nos termos do parágrafo 3. do artigo 4. do Pacto Internacional sobre os Direitos Civis e Políticos.

Notificaçáo

The Secretary -General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, communicates the following:

On 12 January 2006, the Secretary -General received from the Government of France a notification declaring the termination of the state of emergency established pursuant to the Decree dated 8 November 2005, with effect from 4 January 2006.

New York, 11 January 2006.

Sir:

In accordance with article 4 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Permanent Representative had informed you, by his letter of 15 November 2005, that the French Government had decided, by the decree of 8 November 2005, to implement the Act of 3 April 1955 by declaring a state of emergency.

I have the honour to inform you that, by a decree of

3 January 2006, the state of emergency thus declared and extended by the Act of 18 November 2005 has been lifted effective 4 January 2006.

O Secretário -Geral das Naçóes Unidas, agindo na sua qualidade de depositário, comunica o seguinte:

O Secretário -Geral, em 12 de Janeiro de 2006, recebeu do Governo Francês uma notificaçáo declarando a revogaçáo do estado de emergência proclamado por meio do decreto datado de 8 de Novembro de 2005, em vigor a partir de 4 de Janeiro de 2006.
