Aviso n.º 247/2006 Por ordem superior se torna público que a República da Lituânia depositou junto do Secretário-Geral do Conselho da Europa, em 24 de Janeiro de 2003, o seu instrumento de ratificação da Convenção Europeia sobre o Reconhecimento e a Execução das Decisões Relativas à Guarda de Menores e sobre o Restabelecimento da Guarda de Menores, aberta para assinatura no Luxemburgo em 20 de Maio de 1980, com a seguinte declaração: 'In accordance with article 27, paragraph 1, and article 17, paragraph 1, of the Convention, the Republic of Lithuania declares that, in cases covered by articles 8 and 9 of the Convention or either of these articles, the Republic of Lithuania shall avail itself of the right to refuse recognition and enforcement of decisions relating to custody on the grounds provided under article 10 of the Convention.

In accordance with article 2 of the Convention, the Republic of Lithuania declares that the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania shall be appointed the central authority to carry out the functions provided for by this Convention.'
