Aviso n.º 329/2006 Por ordem superior se torna público que o Reino Unido depositou junto do Secretário-Geral do Conselho da Europa, em 23 de Fevereiro de 2003, o seu instrumento de ratificação da Convenção sobre o Reconhecimento das Qualificações Relativas ao Ensino Superior na Região Europa, aberta para assinatura em Lisboa em 11 de Abril de 1997, com as seguintes declarações: 'The Government of the United Kingdom declares that the Convention shall apply to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to the Isle ofMan.

The Government of the United Kingdom declares that, in accordance with article II.2 of the Convention, the competence to make recognition decisions lies with higher education institutions.

In accordance with article IX.2 of the Convention, the Government of the United Kingdom declares that the national information centre, in its role as a European Network Information Centre, is: UK ENIC/NARIC, Ecctis Ltd, Oriel House - Oriel Road, Cheltenham Gloucestershire, GL50 1XP.' Tradução O Governo do Reino Unido declara que a Convenção será aplicada ao Reino Unido da Grã-Bretanha e Irlanda do Norte e à Ilha de Man.

O Governo do Reino Unido declara que, em conformidade com o artigo II.2 da Convenção, a competência para tomar decisões em matéria de reconhecimento é dos estabelecimentos do ensino superior.
