Aviso n.º 54/2020
Sumário: O Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Reino dos Países Baixos comunicou ter a República do Congo, a 11 de dezembro de 2019, depositado o seu instrumento de adesão em conformidade com o artigo 48.º relativamente à Convenção relativa à Proteção das Crianças e à Cooperação em Matéria de Adoção Internacional, adotada na Haia, a 29 de maio de 1993.
Por ordem superior se torna público que, por notificação de 19 de dezembro de 2019, o Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Reino dos Países Baixos comunicou ter a República do Congo, a 11 de dezembro de 2019, depositado o seu instrumento de adesão em conformidade com o artigo 48.º relativamente à Convenção relativa à Proteção das Crianças e à Cooperação em Matéria de Adoção Internacional, adotada na Haia, a 29 de maio de 1993.

Adesão

A Convenção irá, de acordo com a alínea a) do n.º 2, do artigo 46.º, entrar em vigor para o Congo a 1 de abril de 2020.
Nos termos do n.º 3, do artigo 44.º, a Convenção só produzirá efeitos entre o Congo e os Estados Contratantes que não tenham levantado objeção à adesão nos seis meses seguintes à receção da presente notificação.
Por razões de ordem prática, neste caso, o prazo de seis meses terminará a 19 de junho de 2020.
