Aviso n.º 459/2005 Por ordem superior se torna público ter a República da Croácia depositado, no dia 15 de Janeiro de 2003, junto do Secretário-Geral do Conselho da Europa, o seu instrumento de ratificação à Convenção Europeia para a Repressão do Terrorismo, aberta para assinatura, em Estrasburgo, em 27 de Janeiro de 1977, com a seguinte reserva: 'In accordance with Article 13, paragraph 1, of the Convention, the Republic of Croacia reserves the right to refuse extradition in respect of any offence mentioned in Article 1 of the Convention, which it considers to be a political offence, or an offence inspired by political motives. In these cases, the Republic of Croacia undertakes to take into due consideration, when evaluating the character of the offence, any particularly serious aspects of the offence, including: a) That it created a collective danger to the life, physical integrity or liberty of persons,or b) That it affected persons foreign to the motives behind it, or c) That cruel or vicious means have been used in the commission of the offence.' Tradução Em conformidade com o n.º 1 do artigo 13.º da Convenção, a República da Croácia reserva-se a faculdade de recusar a extradição relativamente a qualquer infracção penal prevista no artigo 1.º da Convenção, que considere ser uma infração política ou uma infracção penal com motivação política.
